When released as Nissans flagship in 1983, the 280zx was the fastest production car ever. Pumping 180 bhp stock the 2.8 liter L28ET engine was coupled with the Borg-Warner 5 speed transmission. With new struts, 6 month old tires, new filters/plugs/oil and redone clutch system, this car is definitely running. Valued at approx $5000 this car is being sold at $4000 for a few reasons. One, the turbo is incorrectly spooling and is need of replacement. The interior is not in the best shape with cuts etc in carpet, interior was under customization when first bought and is a bit rough, and radio console is missing. The body and engine how ever are in very good shape with minor dents in body. Paint is needed on this vehicle and does have very minor spot rusting. This vehicle has T-Tops that fully seal and are in great shape valued at approx $750 each side. This car is definitely worth some money when fully restored and is a great investment.
